Tea for Two

     After spending the fall semester in New York with the Kent State Studio program, I  was
inspired to create a collection that captivated the city’s diverse fashion sense in the context of a polished and sophisticated afternoon of tea in the heart of Manhattan.

     The flouncy sheer fabric was hand painted with diluted gouache to create a soft, spontaneous eruption of colors which was repeated across the collection. This collection was awarded 'Best Sewn Quality' in the University of Rhode Island Spring Splash Fashion Show, April 2019
