I am a recent graduate from the University of Rhode Island seeking employment in apparel design. I'm passionate about designing, creating and developing within the fashion industry. I have been recognized for co-creating within a team while offering a trend forward perspective during the creative brainstorming process. I thrive in situations where I can use my design abilities to tell a story through a collection.  My strengths include design, construction and collection development.

She is powerful, unapologetic, and commands your attention. You ask yourself, "Who is she?" She is you and  and this collection is dedicated to you. To the woman who is confident in her body and is not afraid to turn heads when she walks into a room. To the woman who will not conform to societal standards for 'how' a woman should dress. She is bold, daring and electric.

This key look to the left represents a juxtaposition between soft femininity and bold eccentricity. The ruched fabric was hand sewn in place to achieve an effortlessly draped affect. Beneath it is a half lace bodice with boning. This garment was awarded best garment overall in the University of Rode Island Spring Splash Fashion Show,  April 2019.

This collection tells the story of the 1920s through the eyes of three different men; a gangster, a socialite and a newsboy. Each archetype is represented through design elements fitting to their character during this time.  Pinstripes for the gangsters, suspenders and caps for the newsboys and tail coats for the socialites.

The jacket to the right is a representation of a socialite during the 1920s. Extending from the shoulder in the front and back are applied box pleated on the surface as a nod to suspenders. From the asymmetrical  welt pockets with triangle flaps, to the blush pink lining, this jacket would be worn by a well dressed socialite of the 1920's.

Soft as Ice is a visual representation of two dueling personalities; hard and soft. These words are personified through the various design elements in this collection. Soft, fluid lines against jagged and abrasive edges, shapes and textures.

The garment to the left is the focal piece in this collection as it represents both personalities through its center splitting seam separating the two personality traits. The blue lace is the soft feminine side and the deep burgundy represents its contrasting opposite.

Pearlessence was created in order to capture the feminine spirit in a light hearted and elegant manner. The right shoulder of the top to the right was encrusted with pearls sewn on individually by hand. The collection was awarded 'Best Sewn Quality' in the University of Rhode Island Spring Splash Fashion Show, April 2018

After spending the fall semester in New York with the Kent State Studio program, I  was
inspired to create a collection that captivated the city’s diverse fashion sense in the context of a polished and sophisticated afternoon of tea in the heart of Manhattan.

The guests include the posh socialite with her elegant tea dress and the fashion-forward girl who isn’t afraid to go against tradition. I used a vibrant aqua blue, charming pink, and crisp white to evoke a fresh spring aesthetic. The flouncy sheer fabric was hand painted with gouache to create a soft, spontaneous eruption of colors. This collection was awarded 'Best Sewn Quality' in the University of Rhode Island Spring Splash Fashion Show, April 2019

Inspired by my favorite childhood cartoon, Strawberry Shortcake, these pants were first drapped and then patterned digitally. As my final project for a CAD pattern class, we were assigned to come up with an interesting jean design and I decided to create pants suitable for a street chic Strawberry Shortcake. The pants are outfitted with 3D pockets edged with "strawberry shortcake" trim and an accordion-like pleat affect across the legs of the pants.
